What are Protein Domains?
Protein domains are the structural and functional sub units of a protein. Each of these sub units is responsible for a particular function or interaction that contributes to the overall roll of the protein. These domains are found across a wide range of proteins involved in a variety of biological processes. [1] Identifying the protein domains in ARNT will help identify ARNTs protein function.
Protein Domains in ARNT
Discussion
The domains in the ARNT protein are generally involved in internal and external binding which reinforces the theory that ARNT working as a transcription factor that needs to associate with other proteins to function.
